Kristan J. Wheaton (Kris) is the Professor of Strategic Futures at the US Army War College where he teaches the Futures Seminar. Designed to help US Army senior leaders think more rigorously and effectively under conditions of deep uncertainty, the Futures Seminar is a six month project-based program that looks at political, technical, business, and social trends that could impact the Army.
He also manages the Futures Lab, which exposes senior Army leaders to cutting edge commercial technologies. Finally, Kris is the author of the Sources and Methods blog, several books including The Warning Solution and Wikis and Intelligence Analysis, and has supervised over 150 strategic futures projects for a variety of organizations and companies including US national intelligence agencies, Fortune 500 firms, and local small businesses.
